Tutorial: Pacifier “Flower” Pens
So, back in the day, when I used to sell baby items at a local boutique, I used to make these baby pacifier pens and they sold like hot cakes! ha ha. I think they are super cute and absolutely great for a baby shower! You can make a whole bunch of these and use them as a table centerpiece (just put them in a flower pot filled with dry beans) and then you can use them for any baby shower games that you might have, and then (as if all that wasn’t enough) you can give them to the expecting mom and she can use the pacifiers for her new little baby!

Here’s what you will need:
- A roll of cellophane, pacifier, pen, green floral tape, and silk floral leaves (I just cut them off some silk flowers I got from the dollar store.)

Step 1: Cut a square piece of cellophane—you will have to just estimate the size. I think mine was about 6×6. Cover the pacifier and wrap it around the top of your pen.

Step 2: Making sure to cover the ends of your cellophane, use your floral tape to wrap your pen.

go down and back up.

Step 3: Add your leaves one at a time and wrap them with your tape onto your pen. Rip your tape and press the end of your tape onto your pen so it sticks.

And you are done!

TIP: If you haven’t ever used floral tape before, it can take some practice. Make sure you stretch the tape as you wrap it around your pen. The tape has wax in it that will make it stick, but you have to pull the tape fibers apart for it to work! Pull tight and don’t be afraid to overlap!
