Felt Envelopes

A few weeks ago I held a contest where I asked people to link to their best crafty post from 2009. It was fun to visit all the posts and I was excited to actually find some really fun and inspiring craft ideas to do this year. (Look at all you crafty people out there=)

I really loved these Felt Envelopes that were shared by Muffinsnmore. This picture was snagged from her site (each one of her envelopes, stamps, and “addresses” are hand embroidered and super cute!):

My version was a little bit less labor intensive. I used a lot of hot glue, and some fabric paint. I think that someday I might take the time to actually embroider some names. But for now this will have to do:

  2. Oh, too bad I did not see you in time for that 2009 round-up. I’ve made a list of 101 BEST TUTORIALS created in 2009… which you can use for 2010…
    http://www.finecraftguild.com/2010-free-craft-tutorials-best-of-2009-upcycling/ As you can see, many are green (upcycling) ideas.. :-)

    … because, like you, we also gain lots of wonderful ideas from doing such research.
