Felt. I love felt. It is cheap (often less than .30 a sheet), does not fray, comes in beautiful, bright colors, is very versatile, and it is often made out of recyclable materials. So who wouldn’t love felt?
Now that you’ve established a love for felt, what can you make from it? That’s where I come in! Each Friday, for a month or two, I’ll feature a different felt craft. Today’s: Yo-yo Garland.
I first got the idea for felt garland from Anna. All you do is cut out tons of circles of different colors of felt (pick your colors, any will do) and use your sewing machine’s straight stitch right down the center connecting each circle. This garland is great for celebrating birthdays, parties, decorating children’s rooms (hang as a valance), or anything that could use some colorful spunk!
