Lace Flowers

So here is another Easter craft I’ve been working on the last couple of days. These are to go along with some of the other little crocheted flowers that I made for our Easter egg hunt. I thought these ones, made out of lace, might be a bit cuter for some of the older girls.

So all you need is:

* 1 yard of lace (Thank you grandma for giving me 2 gigantic bags of it!!!)
* matching felt for the back
* a hair clip
* a button/decorative brad for flower center
* hot glue
* and my tutorial on how to make a ribbon flower (because it’s exactly the same to make with lace :-) )

And you’ll need some time…because once you start you might not be able to stop:

You can make these as big or as small as you want…here are a few little ones that I made with some scaps:

Anne,
I just love your flowers,both the crocheted one and these gorgeous lace one. I can probably make a gazillion of the lace ones…I have so much lace,my husband thinks I bought the factory. And then, at a thrift store,I came across the biggest plastic trash?? bag,stuffed and filled with lace for $5.00, and you know it just had to come home with me. The lace flowers would look so pretty on just anything,and I can’t wait to make some.
Thank you for idea and how to..

Thanks for this!!
I found a bag of lace in my cupboard and have my wedding next year and want to make my own decorations. This has been really helpful and exactly what I needed.
