Being poor and in college (well, my husband is still in college), I’m really into the refashion madness going on right now. I love it! I can get cute new clothes for super cheap (or free!). My latest refashion started out as this (a super super soft men’s XL shirt):
And after cutting off the sleeves, taking in the sides, cutting off the hem and collar, and using part of this tutorial, I got this (sorry for the run-on sentence):

This shirt is so soft and comfy. I love it! I wasn’t sure the stripes would work well, but I think it turned out great!

Looks great! I refashioned one of my husbands shirts for me (also striped), but unfortunately it still looks too manly for me. Maybe its the sleeves, so thanks for the idea of the capped sleeve. I think I’ll try that and see if it helps.
