Cereal for Dinner

About a month ago I bought this really cute apron pattern at JoAnn’s when they were having one of their awesome $1.99 pattern sales. I’ve been wanting to make an apron for AGES and I knew my sister’s bridal shower was coming up, so I thought I would make her one. My thoughts: “YAY! How fun…and I have plenty of time to work on it.”

So, yesterday {the day of the bridal shower} I finally got around to pulling out the pattern and giving it a go. I’m not sure what I was thinking when I waited until 4PM to start on it {uh, oops…didn’t really mean to fall asleep during quiet time}, but it turned out I was pretty lucky because it was an easy pattern {especially when you leave off the pockets} and miraculously I was able to finish it in time. Though I did have to neglected my duty as a wife and mother and feed my poor kids and husband cereal for dinnerĀ {sorry guys}.

Anyhow, I think it turned out cute and my sister seemed to like it, so I figure if I make a good dinner tonight all will be forgiven ;-) he he.
