Olivia Top 1

The Olivia Top

Oh my goodness!!! I am so excited to show off this cute shirt that I made! I really haven’t done much sewing at all lately…but a few weeks ago my upstairs neighbor came down and showed me some really cute patterns she had just purchased…and it got me all excited about sewing again! This particular shirt is called the Olivia Top and it is by Pink Fig Patterns and well, basically I would like to buy every single pattern that she has. So so so so CUTE! (did I mention HOW cute they are??? :-))

This shirt was the perfect project to get me back in the mood to sew! I had never sewn with elastic thread before (which is used to sew around the neck & sleeves) and it was really fun to learn and try something new! Also, there are a couple different variations you can do to this shirt pattern—and I already have material to sew up a few more! (Plus I thought it looked super cute with one of the lace flowers I had made pinned onto the front.)

Hope you have a Happy Day!
